This safari will begin and end in Kigali Rwanda’s capital and its largest city, it will take you to the most visited Rwanda national park famously known for gorilla tracking almost a half of the world giants live in this park, and it also houses another endangered species that’s the golden monkey You will be privileged to track both endangered species in the world.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to volcanoes national park

Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be welcomed by our safari tour guide who brief you about the safari and later he will transfer you to the north western side of Rwanda in Ruhengeri musanze district with a scenic drive through out. Arrive in time at the park for refreshment. Dinner an overnight at (luxury) Sabyinya Silverback Lodge, Gorilla Nest Lodge/ (Mid-range) Le Bombou Lodge/ (Budget) Kinigi Guest House

Day 2: Mountain gorilla tracking and departure

Wake early in the morning for a cup of tea/ coffee and later you will be transferred to the park headquarters at Kinigi before 7:00am to receive a short briefing about gorilla tracking from the park officials. After the briefing, follow the ranger guide to the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga volcanoes to begin the activity possibly the most interesting activity done on earth. The trekking is a demanding but rewarding experience, you are remained to come with your tracking gears such a sturdy pair of tracking shoes/boots, long sleeved shirts or blouses, enough bottled water and packed lunch as tracking time is unpredictable as meeting gorillas depends on their movement s in their natural environment. Ounce these giants are met you  will forget all the difficulties you’ve passed through and utilize the only one hour allowed to stay with gorillas, stay with them while observing their behaviors as well as taking as many photos as you can(flash cameras are not allowed). After the activity go back to the lodge for leisure, or in the evening enjoy an optional community walk to meet the neighboring about the park, explain to your their historical back ground as well as entertaining you through their cultural dance and music. Day 3: Golden monkey tracking

Wake up very early for a cup of tea/coffee and later the guide will head you to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the dos and don’ts while with these endangered golden monkeys, after follow the ranger guide to the tropical rain forest to begin the activity. These monkeys are regarded one of the most interesting primate species to track and are considered one of the most beautiful primates on earth. Just like gorillas tracking time is unpredictable it can go from 30 minutes to eight hour so a reasonable degree of fitness is needed together with sturdy tracking shoes/boots. They are fabulous fan to watch when jump from tree to tree, ounce they are met you strictly one hour with them. After come back at the lodge for dinner and an overnight at (luxury) Sabyinya Silverback Lodge, Gorilla Nest Lodge/ (Mid-range) Le Bombou Lodge/ (Budget) Kinigi Guest House

Day 4: Departure

This day is reserved for departure, after breakfast head back to Kigali; in case you missed the Kigali city tour on day 1 go for city tour visit the genocide memorial site, national museum among other, have lunch en route and then embark on a transfer to Kigali international airport to meet your departure flight back home.
